Why won't my Hammer code apply with a gift voucher?

Hammer gift vouchers can't be combined with any coupon code, so you get one or the other on an order. Both go into the same code box at checkout. When you add the second one, it gets refused or it replaces the first. Price the order both ways before you pay. Apply the voucher alone and note the total. Then remove it, apply the coupon, and compare. Use the voucher on its own order if you want to keep the coupon saving too.

Can I add a Hammer code after placing my order?

No, so apply the code and check the total before you pay. Cancelling and ordering again is not a way to get a missed code in. A Hammer order can only be cancelled before it is dispatched. And a cancelled order gets no refund of the amount you paid. You can only put that amount toward another Hammer product of the same or higher value, and pay the difference. Pro Tip: Look for the discount line in the order total before you tap pay. That is the last point where a missed code can still be fixed.

What happens to unused balance on a Hammer gift voucher?

It's lost. Any balance you don't spend lapses automatically, and you get no refund or credit note for it. An expired or cancelled voucher can't be revalidated either, so check the end date on yours. Also, whoever holds the voucher code can use it. Treat it like cash and don't share it. Pro Tip: Build a cart that comes close to the voucher value, or a little over it, and pay the difference. That way nothing goes to waste.

Do I pay delivery on a Hammer cash on delivery order?

You might, because Hammer's free shipping covers prepaid orders only. Pay online before delivery and shipping is free anywhere in India. Free prepaid shipping isn't a code you enter, so paying online doesn't stop you from using a discount code on the same order.

How do I get the longest warranty on a Hammer product?

Register the product within 10 days of purchase, then leave a product review to add 2 more months. Hammer products come with a 3 or 6 month warranty. You must register within those 10 days to be able to claim it at all. The review extension adds to whichever period your product has, so a 6 month product can go up to 8 months. Pro Tip: The 10 days count from the purchase date, not delivery. Delivery usually takes 4-6 days after dispatch, so register the day the parcel arrives.

What if my Hammer order arrives damaged or faulty?

Report it within 24 hours of delivery, and you must have an unboxing video - the claim is not accepted without one. Start recording before you open the parcel. The item must also reach the Hammer warehouse within one week, and you pay that courier. The store inspects it and decides whether to repair or replace it. Hammer has no return or exchange policy, so a change of mind isn't covered, and neither is not liking the look or sound. Only missing, damaged, wrong or empty deliveries qualify. Accessories aren't under warranty, but if one is faulty and you report it within 24 hours of delivery, the store checks it and repairs it.

What does a Hammer warranty repair cost me?

Only the courier charge to send it in. Hammer repairs a faulty product under warranty once for free and pays to ship it back to you. The free repair is one time per product, so use it for a real fault, not a minor issue you can live with. Pack the item well, since the trip in is on you.

Who pays if my Hammer parcel can't be delivered?

You do, if a wrong name, address or phone number caused the failed delivery. The cost of sending it again falls on you, which can eat into whatever your coupon saved. Pro Tip: Check your pincode and mobile number on the checkout page before paying. The tracking number arrives by email once the order ships, so you can follow it from there.
