Why we back small groups

Big charities get most of the attention. The small rescuers and shelters caring for street animals every day often run on very little, and that is where a small amount makes the biggest difference.

  • Small and local

Shelters and rescuers working in their own neighbourhood, where a little money goes a long way.

  • Registered or not

Many are not registered charities. What matters to us is that they do the work, day in and day out.

  • People we know

We only support groups we know personally and have seen caring for animals.

Care for street dogs and cats in Ambernath

R3ANIMALIFE Foundation is a small, hands-on team that has been caring for street dogs and cats in Ambernath since 2022. They have arranged more than 350 sterilisations so far, about 70 to 80 a year, so fewer puppies and kittens are born on the streets, and have carried out more than 400 treatments for sick and injured animals, including around 20 dogs with disabilities. They keep 15 cages for animals that need a safe place to stay, have 4 animals in daily care right now, and find homes for some through adoption.
