Why does my Acer code say it doesn't apply to my laptop?

The code is tied to a different set of models than the one in your cart. Acer codes are often limited to a particular model line or series, so a code that covers one range will not work on another. The offer on this page names the models or series it covers. If your model matches, the code has probably expired. Try the next one on the list. And if a code is already in the box, remove it first, because the cart holds only one at a time. Pro Tip: If an offer fails, tap 'No' under 'Did this offer work?' in the popup. It helps us pull dead codes off this page faster.

Can I use the Acer student code with another coupon?

No. The student code cannot be combined with other offers, so the same laptop gets one or the other. Price it both ways before you pay. Apply the student code and note the total. Then remove it, try the best code listed here, and keep whichever leaves the lower amount.

Will a coupon work on a laptop that's already on sale?

Often not. A laptop with a marked-down price won't take an extra code unless the offer here says it covers sale items. So compare two totals: the sale price on its own, and the normal price minus the code. Buy at whichever is lower. Don't skip a sale just to use a code, since the markdown alone can beat it.

Which credit cards get no cost EMI on Acer laptops?

HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Yes Bank and Kotak Mahindra credit cards get no cost EMI for 3 or 6 months at Acer. It works on select products priced above INR 10,000, so an accessory below that price is not covered. The offer is for credit cards, so a debit card from the same bank won't get it. No cost EMI spreads the price over months, it does not cut it. Apply your coupon in the cart first, then pick the EMI plan on the payment page and check the monthly amount and any processing fee before you confirm.

How do I get the Acer student discount?

You need to register and verify that you are a student, and Acer then emails you a coupon code to use at checkout. The code only comes after verification, so finish that step before the day you plan to buy. It works on select laptops in the Aspire, Swift, Spin and Nitro series priced above INR 40,000. A laptop outside those series, or under that price, will not take the code.

What does the Acer extended warranty bundle add?

It adds 2 years of extended warranty to select laptops at a reduced price, and you can take it with or without 1 year of accidental damage protection. The extended cover starts when the 1-year standard warranty ends, so you get 3 years of warranty in total. You must add the bundle before checkout. It is not offered on every laptop, so if the model you want has it, the option appears before you check out.

When does my Acer extended warranty certificate arrive?

The certificate comes by email within 14 days of your invoice date. Save it in the same folder as your invoice. You won't need it in the first year, which is exactly why it gets lost by the time the extra cover begins.
