Check Your Bank Card's Section on Gyftr Before Buying From the Main Page

Open the same brand and denomination in two browser tabs, one in your bank card's section such as Gift EDGE or the SBI Card section and one on the main Gyftr page, and pay wherever the final payable amount is lower.

If you hold an Axis Bank, SBI or IndusInd Bank card, look up the brand in your card's own section on Gyftr before buying from the main page. These sections are Gift EDGE for Axis Bank cards, the SBI Card section for SBI credit cards, and Indus Moments for IndusInd Bank cards. The same voucher can carry a different discount there, and the coins you earn are different too.

In the Gift EDGE and SBI Card sections, you must log in with the mobile number registered with your bank and pay with that bank's card to get the section price. On Gift EDGE, both Axis Bank debit and credit cards qualify.

Coins earned on Gift EDGE and in the SBI Card section can be spent only in the same section. SBI GV Coins also expire 6 months after they are credited and cannot be used on Amazon Pay or Amazon Shopping vouchers. An order paid with GV Coins, in full or in part, earns no new GV Coins, so spend them on a small order and pay for your bigger vouchers by card.

Switch From Accelerated Rewards to Insta Deals Once Your HDFC Card Hits Its Monthly Cap

Keep a running total of the accelerated points your HDFC card earns on Gyftr each month, and choose the Insta Deals tab for every voucher once that total reaches your card's monthly cap.

In the SmartBuy Instant Vouchers section, every brand page lets HDFC Bank card holders choose between Accelerated Rewards, which adds extra reward points or cashback, and the Insta Deals tab, which cuts the voucher price at checkout. You cannot combine the two on the same voucher. Pick Accelerated Rewards while your card still has room under its monthly cap for accelerated points.

The cap depends on your card variant. Once you reach it, switch to Insta Deals, which still gives its checkout discount and also earns base reward points. Insta Deals is offered on eligible HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, PayZapp-linked cards and Zapp accounts.

Purchase limits in this section vary by brand and depend on when you registered and your transaction history. Before a large purchase, such as a travel voucher for a family trip, open My Usage Limit to see how much you can still buy.

Spend e-Pay on 0.5% Brands and Pay for 2% Brands by Card or UPI

Set a phone reminder for 25 days after each e-Pay credit and use the balance on the brand with the lowest e-Pay rate among those you buy, before it expires.

Each brand page on the main Gyftr site shows the e-Pay you will earn: 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% or 2% of the amount you pay. An order paid with e-Pay earns no e-Pay. So use your e-Pay balance on a brand that pays 0.5%, and pay for 2% brands with a debit or credit card, UPI, a Paytm or MobiKwik wallet, or net banking to keep the full earning.

e-Pay is credited as soon as the voucher is delivered and expires 30 days later. It cannot be revalidated after that. Since 1 e-Pay equals INR 1 and it applies on top of the voucher's upfront discount, plan your next Gyftr purchase inside those 30 days.

Match Voucher Denominations to Your Bill So No Balance Goes to Waste

Add your items to the brand's cart first, note the final payable amount after the brand's own discounts, and then buy Gyftr vouchers that add up to just under that figure.

Check the redemption steps on the brand page before you pick a denomination. Many brand vouchers on Gyftr allow partial redemption, so any unused value stays for your next order. Single-use vouchers can be redeemed only once, and whatever is left over is lost.

For a single-use voucher, cover your bill with smaller denominations rather than one large one. Brands such as Croma, Myntra and Nykaa accept several Gyftr vouchers on one bill, so two or three small vouchers can add up to your total. Where a brand accepts only one voucher per bill, buy the denomination just below your bill and pay the small balance another way.

Load Your Gyftr Voucher Into the Brand's Wallet Before a Big Brand Sale

Add the Gyftr voucher to the brand's app wallet at least one day before the sale opens and confirm the balance shows up, so you are not typing codes while sale stock runs out.

A Gyftr voucher pays for the order, so it usually works on top of the brand's own sale price. Buy the voucher before a brand sale such as Amazon Great Indian Festival, Flipkart Big Billion Days or Nykaa Pink Friday, and add it to your account on the brand's site or app. On brands that have a wallet, use the 'Add Gift Card' or 'Redeem Gift Card' option in the wallet or payments section and enter the voucher code and PIN.

Voucher validity differs by brand, often from 1 to 12 months, and an expired voucher cannot be extended. Check the validity on the brand page and buy early only if it runs past the sale's last day.
